The Proof is in The Pudding

The well-being of people, especially those who are working, has become a hot topic in recent years, but it seems that the buzz has yet to translate into meaningful actions in the workplace.

Several educational institutions offer courses on mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, which focuses on helping individuals overcome depression. Still, there remains little understanding in the humanitarian sector of what it is, what it’s not, and what its potential gains are.

What Makes SPECS Foundation Different

SPECS Foundation presents a different case. For other companies, setting aside time for meditation on God’s word is considered a waste of time, in SPECS Foundation, it is encouraged. In fact, in recent years, they would spend a certain amount of time on it, but when the pandemic hit the world, they spent even more time on Bible devotions. The heavier the workload, the longer time spent in prayer and meditation.

The Burden of Proof

How does one measure the benefits gained from meditating before the start of a workday? Not many workplaces will be comfortable with something hard to gauge. But for SPECS Foundation, the proof is in the pudding. Everyone’s willing to do their share and then some; all fueled by the passion to help and motivation from God’s daily word.
