ISM proudly hosted a Career Guidance Day for our Educational Sponsorship Program clients — a full-day event designed to equip, inspire, and prepare students for their professional journeys.
The event featured hands-on sessions, career-specific discussions, and interactive learning experiences across various fields, carefully tailored to the students’ academic strands.
🔍 Career-Focused Learning Tracks
📹 Edu-Mass Communication Strand
Students explored the exciting world of media and communication, with engaging workshops on Videography, Art & Design, Graphic Creation, and Information Technology.
🍎 Education Strand
Aspiring educators participated in thought-provoking sessions that highlighted the joys and challenges of teaching. Emphasis was placed on developing classroom readiness, leadership, and communication skills.
🏥 Nursing Strand
The Nursing group engaged in a Basic First Aid Workshop, gaining vital hands-on experience in emergency response techniques — a foundational skill set for any aspiring healthcare professional.
🛡️ Security Work Strand
Students interested in the protective services field learned about discipline, situational awareness, and professionalism. Practical insights into the world of security work were shared by experienced trainers.
💼 Mock Interviews: Practice Makes Professional
A key highlight of the day was the Mock Interview Workshop. Designed for students aged 17 and above, this session simulated real-life job interviews. Participants received personalized feedback to boost their confidence and improve their communication and presentation skills.
🏅 Awarding and Closing Ceremony
The day ended on a high note with a heartfelt Awarding and Closing Ceremony. Outstanding participants were recognized for their enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment. Certificates of participation were distributed, celebrating each student’s journey toward a brighter, purpose-driven future.
